Galfar Al Misnad Company started in 1995 as a subsidiary of Galfar Engineering and Contracting LLC. When Julphar Oman became a public limited company in 2007, Julphar Al Misnad became independent.

Julphar Al Misnad continued to expand its presence in the GCC through the acquisition of Julphar Kuwait in 2010 and Julphar SAS in 2011.

The Infrastructure Division has laid the solid foundation for the emergence of Julphar Al-Misnad as a key participant in the development of Qatar into an advanced society, as envisaged in the Qatar National Vision 2030.

With humble beginnings in Qatar as a road and bridge division in 1996, Infrastructure is now the company's top performing division, working on some of Qatar's most prestigious and challenging construction projects. The annual turnover is now approaching one billion Qatari riyals. Currently, the Infrastructure division is able to handle standalone projects worth over two billion Qatari riyals.

In October 2020, Julphar Al Misnad marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the completion of 25 years of operations in Qatar.

Julphar Al Misnad started its independent operations in Qatar in 1995 building on the strong legacy of Julphar Oman.

Starting with oil and gas jobs it expanded rapidly into infrastructure and E&I projects.

It has also diversified into activities like aluminum facades, scaffolding, painting, fabrication, mechanical workshop etc.

The company also invested in Julphar Kuwait and acquired the SAS Company in Ras Al Khaimah.
